The goal of Central Illinois Public Transit Program is to provide reliable and timely transportation to residents of each county we serve by ensuring punctuality, accessibility, courtesy, cleanliness, serviceability, and safety at all times to our riders.
Currently serving the counties of Christian, Clay, Fayette, Montgomery, Moultrie, and Shelby. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. Transportation Services (CEFS) CASH FARE STRUCTURE In County $3 per one-way trip, $6 per round trip Children 0-5 ride free with paying adult Children 6-12 are $2 per one-way trip, $4 per round trip Seniors ride for a suggested donation (Need to apply for a Reduced Fare ID Card.) Monthly Pass Monthly Pass is $35 Monthly Pass for person with a disability is $15 (Need to apply for a Reduced Fare ID Card.) All pass purchases are non-refundable. Out of county trips $1 per mile as availability allows. Medicaid and Modivcare, and MTM payments for medical trips are accepted.
