Shelby County Highway Department - Laborer

Description

  • Drive assigned trucks; for example: Tandem & Combination Trucks
  • Operate assigned equipment; for example: Grader, Excavator, Backhoe, Loader, Tractor
  • Keep assigned trucks and other equipment in good running condition
  • General labor work such as shoveling, plowing snow, handling materials, replacing signs and posts, welding, use of cutting torch, mowing, painting, use of chain saws, doing general bridge repairs, concrete forming and pouring, patching and other miscellaneous work as directed by the supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must already have a Commercial Drivers License
